Grilled Cornish Hens With Sweet and Spicy Marinade

Serves: 4 servings
  • 2 Tyson┬« Cornish Hens
  • ¼ cup Kikkoman┬« Orange Sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter melted
  • ¼ water for the bottom of the pan
  1. Thaw the Cornish hens about 1 day in advance.
  2. mix together the orange sauce, honey, hot sauce and melted butter in a medium bowl until thoroughly combined.
  3. Place the hens in a shallow bowl and drizzle the sweet and spicy marinade over the top.
  4. Refrigerate for about an hour.
  5. Heat ½ of the grill to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Place the chickens into a cooking bag and pour any excess marinade in with them.
  7. Place the bag in a shallow aluminum pan.
  8. Place the pan on the non lit side of the grill and close the lid.
  9. Cook for about 1½ hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  10. Use a meat thermometer to make sure the hens are thoroughly cooked.
